Widow, PG student emerge winners at Intercontinental Bank’s Enugu draw

Two customers, a widow, and dish washer with Niggawood Hotel,in Aguata Local Government area of Anambra State, Mrs. Margaret Onyenaekwe and 29-year-old Ogene Azubuike, a Post Graduate student of Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki on Wednesday emerged as star prize winners of brand new Toyota Corolla Car at the sixth edition of the Intercontinental Bank’s 20th Anniversary promo draw.
Twenty others emerged winners of brand new Symba Motorcycles respectively. The event which took place at Zodiac Hotel, Independence Layout, Enugu had in attendance customers an friends of the bank
Presenting the car keys to Mrs. Margret Onyenekwe and Ogene Azubuike Intercontinental Bank Regional Director, South East, Mr. Stanley Ngwaba, commended the winners and thanked the customers for their for their continued patronage and remarked that the 20th anniversary promo draw was the bank’s way of celebrating the customers and bringing to climax the year-long celebrations that started since February.
The Regional Director who represented the Group Managing Director, Mr Mahmoud Lai Alabi at the occasion said: “The strong brand of the bank over the years could not have been possible without your patronage. This is why this promo is our of saying a Big Thank You to you, our ever-loyal and supportive customers-the major reason for our successes over the years.” he added. Responding one of the car winners, Mrs. Margaret Onyenekwe thanked God and the bank’s management for giving her the opportunity of owning a car. She said she could not believe she won a car when her number was dialed, but she later went to the branch her account was domiciled-Ekwulobia main branch in Aguata Local Government area, Anambra State where she was told the car was for real. In his own contributions, the other star prize winner, Mr Ogene Azubuike Said Intercontinental Bank was the first and the best in the country saying that he never believed he could win a car prize until it happened.
